Day 166 End of an era
Tonight saw the marking of an end of an era. Some 3 years ago I embarked on my career with a well known fitness establishment at a club based in Leeds City Centre. Recently it was announced that that specific club would close. So tonight a party was held for staff, former staff and members. It was a small affair but a nice one as it have me opportunity to catch up with familiar faces. The club holds many fond memories, I learned how to be a manager there and met many lifelong friends. I have so many happy memories of the place and would dare say it was the place I was most happiest in my professional career so far. The club closes at the end of the month, it will be a sad day, but I'd rather focus on the memories of all the staff and members. The great nights out, the banter, the practical jokes and the ever present professionalism....

It's a sad day. I went through the same nearly 2 years ago when our department was relocated to Pudsey.
