Day 173 Family Sun
The sun is shining and the children are playing, and what fun they look like they are having, I sit hear having a lovely cuppa as the sun does the hard work for me and allows the children to roam free in the back garden. Here is eldest daughter and her cousin playing freely on not one but two trampolines....
Meanwhile Nana is in the living room distracting youngest child with nursery rhymes, and from the giggles and gurgles I hear she seems to be enjoying. After having breakfast in the garden we took them all for a walk, or I say walk only me and the children's Nana ended up walking. Eldest daughter was on a scooter and CJ was on his bike while youngest daughter was in her push chair. We stopped by a local park for them to play on.... While Nana and Tabitha sat and watched....

Once we were finished it was time to head back to Nana's on the bike and scooter but unfortunately eldest child got bored of being on the scooter and ended up dragging it along instead of riding on it....
So it ended up with my riding on it, but I got told off for not having a crash helmet on....
Once we got back to Nana's it was time to enjoy the weather more by having lunch outside on the patio, before more afternoon fun in the sun....

Day 156 nice scenery part 2
Back in February I took a picture for my 366. It was of some scenery on my way to work. I stated then that I would take another picture later in the year, so today I followed through on that and took this....
As you can see its quite a pretty sight in the summer, the leaves are overlapping and it's nice and peaceful, perfect scenery to relax to before or after work.

Day 152 artistic license
Today we had a trip out. As we were sat in a coffee shop having our lunch we got out a notebook and pen to keep eldest occupied to draw. Myself and her worked as a team to draw a picture of her, I drew the head and she took over from there...
Meanwhile mummy drew a more professional version of our Picasso inspired version....

Day 117 Who's this bear ?
TV has a lot if cute clothes. And naturally as a proud Daddy I'm bound to say she looks cute and is undoubtedly the cutest Baby I have ever seen (I can't even count myself as I've never seen myself as a Baby) but today as we were going out we put her in this her bear outfit....
It even has little paws in the bottom of her feet. She was so happy wearing it, and it was such good timing when I put her in it as I had just finished eating my bowl of porridge which we all know from the famous fairy tale bears love to eat...

Day 113 skippy
Here is eldest trying to use a scarf as a skipping rope, unfortunately she couldn't quite grasp it and as it swooped round it would stop at her feet, step over it and swoop over her head again. Eventually she gave up and used it as a belt....

Day 67 Thank you and goodnight
Today I was shocked as Musodad decided he was hanging up his blogging fingers, (what do you hang up when you stop blogging?) anyway if you've never read his blog go here it's a great read and who knows if he gets a surge of traffic he might reconsider?
Anyway my picture of the day has to be of the man himself so I'd like to dedicate day 67 to Musodad, thank you for the constant kind words and #ff you'll be missed buddy but I hope you take up my offer of being a special guest blogger whenever you wish on comfort in sound.

Day65 The Boss
Today there can only be one picture for the caption of the day, it is this.....
The boss's, Bruce Springsteens new album, Wrecking Ball. I love the Boss, all his music is great, I find it hard to critise any of his songs, each one tells a story, a picture of events, many within and larger tale on an album. Whatever your mood the Boss has a song to reflect, and, when I'm often listening to him in the car I can't help but sing along at the top of my lungs. The Boss is often my Kareoke song of choice, specifically Born To Run. You can't beat seeing him power slide across the stage and belt out any of his songs.
I can't wait to see him live again this summer, although it will be different seeing him and the legendary 'big man' Clarence Clemons not being there, I am sure the Boss and the E-Street band will ensure his memory lives on in their music.
1,2,3 Tramps like us, Baby we were Born To Run..........

Day 42: Literally mountains of washing.....
After work today I got home. Settled down to a cup of tea and decided to watch the football that I had recorded earlier and sort the washing out. WHAT? A guy sorting the washing out? Yes thats right that's not a typo. There is literally mountains of washing lying around the house, most of it is done, just not been sorted and put away. So I felt it was quite right to share the various loads of washing as my picture of the day as, firstly I haven't any other ideas what to do today and secondly to prove that, at times, I can be organised and contirbute to the housework.
First there is mummy's nice and neat pile......
Then there is eldest childs modest pile......
Then there is my pile, featuring my faveourite silky boxers....
And then there is youngest childs few clothes....
....er did I say few, I meant mountain, Litterally! The smallest member of the family goes through more clothes than Lady Gaga goes through in a concert.

Day 37: Winter Warmers
Ahhh there's nothing better than a nice hot meal when it's cold and snowy outside. Even more satisfying is when it's homemade, the OH has made spicy carrot soup while we both have made homemade bread, something I haven't done since I was in school. Hope it tastes as good as it looks.
First we started with the mixture, my OH placed all the ingredients in the bowl as I did the hard and very important job of reading out the instructions....
Once this mixture was done it was time to ball it up and get ready for the next stage.....
Next we needed to Knead the bread, for 10 minutes, but it took us more like 15 minutes.....
Then once it had set for 45 minutes and then cooked for 15 minutes, the bread as ready to serve nice a hot with the lovely piping hot Carrot soup....
The soup as delicious and the bread wasn't bad for a first effort, next time we must measure properly the Yeast however.....

30 of 366: Saving the planet
Here's today's picture. This is us taking our recycling out, helping to save the planet.
We've been gathering it for the last few months but never managed to take if out for collection do hopefully tomorrow morning the recycling men will collect it (fingers cross) note ER in her pink wellies being a young Eco warrior.
Hopefully this is one step to our dream of living as self sufficient as possible, but I can't wait to get a garden so I can grow fresh veg and have my own chickens for fresh eggs.
