Day 88 Stop Thief There's been a Robbery
Due to the lovely weather e were having we decided to have a stroll out into town today and had lunch on one of the benches in ton. It was great, I have a chicken and Chroizo Pasty, Mummy had a Steak Pasty and eldest plumped for the cheese roll. We all enjoyed it until eldest dropped hers on the floor by accident and a opportunist pigeon decided to steal it.....

Day 85 Fun in the Sun
Ahhhh Spring is here, the sun is shining and apparently in some places this weekend it's hotter than the Sahara in good old Blighty ! Obviously after going out to celebrate OH's birthday last night I we were feeling a little rough, once we were awake and felt better we headed to pick up our lovely daughters.
As we arrived we stayed at grandpas for a little while to play in his lovely garden, TV sat on her big sister chair...
Whilst we played a spot of improvised cricket....

Life's a beach
Last weekend saw us embrace the sunny weather and hit the seaside with the kids. Although the weekend started with a sombre affair for my OH having to attend a family funeral it gave me time to look after the girls by myself, something I don't get much to do.
We decided this was the perfect opportunity to go shopping for mummy's mothers day and birthday pressies. We got our tools and started work, eventually we ended up making this rather nifty looking card for mummy....
The next day mummy again left me with the girls as she went to the salon to be pampered for her birthday. I fed the children whilst youngest decided to have a 3 hour nap straight after hampering our days activities. After this we headed towards Scarborough to grab a bit to eat before meeting up with mummy who looked very relaxed and refreshed after her mornings worth of pampering. We then headed towards the seaside, this was the first time youngest had ever been to the seaside, and the first time I've took eldest there. In Scarborough there's the old tram that takes you down, we opted for this route, although I can never remember going on this as a child myself....
As we reached the bottom if the hill we decided to nip into one if the arcades.....
But eldest was a little scared of them....
As we reached the seafront a thousand memories came flooding back. I hadn't been to Scarborough since I was about 10, but can remember walking along the seafront scaring my mum half to death thinking I've run off when I was busy playing on the games in the arcades trying to persuade her to give me some more money. We then went to get an ice cream, mummy insisted on going to a certain ice cream shop that she'd always go to as a little girl so we each plumped for our individual tastes, mummy went for a full lemon ice cream....
I went for a strawberry topped Ice cream....
And eldest went for a milk lolly....
Youngest didn't think much about daddy's ice cream....
And eldest didn't think much of mummy's....
But as we strolled along the seafront with our ice creams, in what then turned typical colder weather mummy then said, "oh wait, that's the ice cream shop!" she'd made us go to the wrong place, silly ! On our way back we let eldest walk along the beach which she enjoyed but myself and youngest had to walk on the Path as the wheels to the pram wouldn't move in the sand. So eldest was looking cute walking hand in hand with mummy....
As walking on the sand, the temptation is too great not to play with it and allow the small grains slip through her fingers so eldest must pick up the sand and throw it around, I'm just surprised she didn't get any in her eye....
And of course just was the girls get off the beach and back onto tarmac, they must get rid of all the sand that has collected in their shoes, after all we love the beach but we don;t ant to take it home with us....
On our way home both girls had a nice sleep as of course the day was long , and I couldn't resist but take a picture of eldest as she slept, she'll probably kill me for this photo one day when she's older....
We promised her another trip back to the seaside so she can build a sandcastle next time, that'll be interesting!

Day 83 Sport Relief
At work we've been having a bit of fun today. We participated in the sport relief day holding activities for our members, and trying to raise as much money as possible. We ran events like run a mile, a 12hour spinathon and a 4 hour puma faas class.
As staff it also gave us the chance to dress up in sporting themes, Jono decided to do. His wrestling gear....
But unfortunately he got body slammed I to submission by me....
Have a great sport relief and please donate to this very worthy cause.

Day 82 sleeping beauties
Kids, they can be very exhausting to us unsuspecting adults. We appreciate our parents a lot more once we go through the ordeal ourselves but when you see them sleeping you notice how perfect and beautiful they are (mostly because they are quiet).....

Day 78 mothers day
Today is mothers day, so the picture of the day must reflect that. Unfortunately I'm working later today and I am unable to see my mother today but I've called to make sure she knows I'm thinking of her today, and also to make her aware the card will arrive tomorrow.
But the mummy of the house has had a good start to the day. Firstly ER and myself cooked her breakfast in bed....
Before giving her present from both gig her little girlies....
Happy mothers day to all mothers.

A little Q and A....
I was tagged in a Q&A post by First-Time-Daddy It's took me a few days to get round to it but I thought, what the hell I'll do it, seems like a bit of harmless fun. (I immediately apologise to those I have tagged who feel they have to do it)
First the rules....
If you were to have a meal with 3 other people alive or dead, who would it be. (Anybody famous or not)
1) which character do you prefer from only fools and horses, Grandpa or Uncle Albert and why?
2) if you had 3 wishes what would they be other than money, and eternal life?
3) if you could live in any period of time when would you live and why?
4) if you had to live as the opposite gender for 1 day what would you do?
5) would you rather be a pirate or a ninja and why?
6) what would be your catchphrase if you were a game show host?
7) if you had to write a book what would you write about?
8) if you could choose a fictional character from a Book/TV/Movie to be real who would you chose and why?
9) What would you like to be your legacy to be?
10) Which Cartoon Character best sums you up and why?
11) Why is your favourite colour your favourite?
So now I've got to Tag people so here goes:
@OurPeagreenpod
@Tombriggs79
@kateonthinice
@militarydadblog
@bryony32
@onedad3girls
@himupnorth
@asnood

First the rules....
- You must post these rules.
- Each person must post 11 things about herself on their blog.
- Answer the questions the “tagger” listed for you in her post, and create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer.
- Choose 11 people to tag and link to them in the post.
- Let each blogger know that you have tagged them
If you were to have a meal with 3 other people alive or dead, who would it be. (Anybody famous or not)
- Bill Shankley would be one, I'd love to speak to the man who put Liverpool F.C back on the map and made us great again. I've seen clips and watched TV shows dedicated to him and he just seemed like he had so much Character and would invoke lively conversation. I'd also love to have Sir Richard Branson at the meal, I think again he's someone you've got to look up to with all he's achieved and you have the feeling he's always got something new in mind, I could maybe pluck his brain for business tips and try blag a free ticket to Necker island too. An lastly at the meal I'd plump for Sir Paul McCartney, I'd love to hear all his stories about the Beatles, Wings and his whole life really, and see if I could get him to get the guitar out.
- Horatio. Simply because its a cool name I mean seriously who wouldn't want to be called Horatio!
- If this means in my lifetime then it would have to be to re-live my days working at the Summer Camp in America, everyday was fantastic and such a good laugh to do. If it was to any event I'd have t go see the Beatles live at the Cavern in Liverpool in the 60's, just because I think the 60's is one of the most amazing times and it would be great to see it all in full flow.
- The Ginger Ninja
- Jupiter because I like the ring that goes around it.
- Hmmm a tricky question alot of my favourite films are more reality based, but I guess thinking away from these I'd have to say I'd choose Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I mean think about it, the Turtles roaming the world to keep us save, that is quite comforting isn't it?
- Chuck Norris because he's a bad ass and ginger and it would be called The trials and tribulations of being ginger.
- Easy I'd buy an Aston Martin, all for me.
- I'd have to have the power to steal other peoples powers and use them, cheating I know but think about it then I have whatever power I choose.
- I use to have a T-shirt that said "I wish I was a monkey, So then I could throw Poop at you" So for that reason I'd have to say Monkey.
- 7 I wanted to be an archaeologist just like Dr Alan Grant from Jurassic Park, at 13 I wanted to be a Radio DJ and be very witty and famous and at 16 I wanted to be a football coach and travel a lot with it.
1) which character do you prefer from only fools and horses, Grandpa or Uncle Albert and why?
2) if you had 3 wishes what would they be other than money, and eternal life?

Day 72 Mmmmm Apple Cereal
Today TV had her first taste of proper(ish) food. We fed her special baby apple cereal. She of course made a mess of herself, getting most of it around her face rather than eating it, and couldn't grasp the fact that it was a spoon and not a bottle and tried to suck the spoon. But other than this is was a relative success and she looked like she enjoyed it.....
