Day 322 younger artist

Earlier in the year I shared some pictures that our 4 year old daughter painted. The pictures she not only showcased in a local exhibition but also sold.

Well it looks like her 11 month old sister is following in her artistic footsteps as she has now taken up painting. Below is her painting she painted yesterday in nursery...

Day 319 our new addition

We want to introduce you to our new addition to our family. No we aren't having another child we now have a pet! Yes eldest daughter has a dog, well infact she made a dog with mummy out of an old Pringles tube. Quite creative, it's a sausage dog and his name is Richard...

Day 290 Crash Landing

I took this photo when I was in Liverpool. I forgot to use it but I still wanted to share it. This was in the middle of Liverpool, it's a piece if art called elevator. I can't remember exactly what the blurb said but it was, as you can see a lift that has crashed. I don't mean to be disrespectful to the artist who designed it but I thought it was a TARDIS first....

Day 212 Back to the drawing board

A few weeks ago I posted about eldests artistic ability and how she had not only got her paintings in a show along side adults work, but had won a prize and even sold her art, we later found out that there were 2 people who were interested buying her work and it got quite competitive.

Well she was back to creating more masterpieces today and here's some pictures of her doing so....

Day 192 Art

Eldest daughter entered an art show last week, along with her mother and her nanny. Not only did her pieces get past the judges and into the show but she also won a highly commended prize, and she has even sold both paintings! Wow I might have to start selling more of her other work....

Day 157 Olympic Art

A day out today saw us walk past this shop. I thought it quite creative and a worthy reason to be my picture if the day. The Olympics us only 56 days away and in 2 weeks time the flame will be going past our house. I only wish I could've ran with it....

Day 152 artistic license

Today we had a trip out. As we were sat in a coffee shop having our lunch we got out a notebook and pen to keep eldest occupied to draw. Myself and her worked as a team to draw a picture of her, I drew the head and she took over from there...
